GalSol Cookies & Local Storage Policy

1 What We Use

GalSol uses necessary browser storage for core platform functions. We also use optional Google Analytics on GalSol pages only when a visitor allows analytics cookies through the cookie banner.

2 Necessary Storage

• Authentication Tokens: We store a secure JSON Web Token (JWT) in your browser's Local Storage to maintain your session after you log in via Google OAuth.
• Security & State: We use local storage to remember your UI preferences (like sidebar state) and temporarily cache your dashboard statistics to reduce loading times.
• Consent Record: We store your cookie choice in Local Storage under galsol_cookie_consent so we know whether analytics is allowed.

3 Optional Analytics

GalSol uses Google Analytics 4 on GalSol platform pages to understand aggregated visits, page usage, and product performance. Analytics is optional. If you reject optional cookies, GalSol will not load its Google Analytics tag for your browser.

4 Organiser Analytics

• • Google OAuth: During the login process, Google will place authentication cookies on your browser. These are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• • Mini Site Google Analytics: If an organiser connects their own GA4 Measurement ID to a published GalSol Mini Site, Google Analytics may place cookies on that visitor's browser for the organiser's site analytics. The organiser controls that Google Analytics property.

5 Managing Consent

You can accept all cookies, reject optional cookies, or customize analytics consent from the landing page cookie banner. You can reopen the banner from the "Cookie Settings" link in the landing page footer.

You can also clear cookies and Local Storage from your browser settings. Clearing Local Storage may log you out of the GalSol workspace and reset saved preferences.
